Sea Scout Adventures

Every year Sea Scouts from around the country climb aboard vessels for life changing voyages. From the Dry Tortugas to the waters of Alaska, Sea Scouts have to oprotunity to expore in, on, around, and under our waters. 

Voyage to Alaska

Sailing Aboard the USCG Cutter Eagle

Each summer a select group of Sea Scouts climb aboard the USGC Cutter Eagle and participate in the program with Cadets from the Coats Guard Academy. Training includes watched, knots, heaving line, fire drill, climbing aloft, putting on a “Gumby” suit, and everyone’s favorite, Square Rigger Olympics.
